  • Looking Forward

*I decided that instead a post full of complaining and whining about all the emotions I currently have, because who really wants to read all that winky, I would do a post that has some positivity in it. I mean, despite the fact that I feel isolated and lonely and just want to ball my eyes out, focusing on THIS post does help bring some happy thoughts of things to look forward too. I said, the other day, how I wrote out some goals for the spring/summer, so here we go.*

And I really don’t care if you think some of these are silly or not. silly

See, I lost some weight and really haven’t ever worn shorts or tank tops, but I’m feeling adventurous, so…

    1. Get shorts and a Tank Top and actually wear them. laughing

The last time I wore shorts was when I was pregnant. You know how hot and bothered pregnant women get. But I’m a fairly modest person, so I don’t like showing my legs, really. Or most of my arms. However, there’s really nothing wrong with it and who gives a flip? So, I’m thinking something like this…

I realize those are not shorts. I realize they are Capri’s. I mean, have you seen how short shorts are? Uh, yeah. No. My butt is big, no way with those inky dinky things cover it. LOL.

    2. Go to Balloon Fest or Some Fair/Carnival.

We went to balloon fest last year. Maybe this year the wind won’t be bad and they’ll actually have a balloon launch. whatevah I find the carnival rides to be loads of fun. Loads of fun. Oh my goodness, want to get on the scrambler LIKE NOW!

    3. Ice Skating

After all, what could be more fun than ice skating in the spring, after winter is over? I figure, I haven’t done it in a while and it’ll be a good way to continue making a fool out of myself. Plus, I’ve never taken Bri Ice skating. That would be fun to see! laughing

    4. See a Drive in Movie

    5. Possible Road Trip for a day.

The in laws have a wedding, somewhere, in May. they say it’s halfway between Idaho and Michigan, so we’ll see. See, last May, we drove to Colorado, so we should average about 1 good road trip a year. Totally necessary!

    6. Stony Creek Picnic.

It’s been FOREVERRR since I’ve been there.

    7. Buy a bathing suit.

*sigh* Should have put this up by #1. Well, I’d be more confident to buy one, but I’m pretty anti-bathing suits. Bikinis are practically underwear, might as well just walk around in your underwear. I will not be exposing that much of myself. So, I have a pair of mens swim trunks, lol yes I do, and will wear those with a normal bathing suit. And, who knows, if I’m comfortable taking off the shorts, I just might. winky  Basically, I want to play in the sprinkler and on a slip and slide. shoot. sounds fun to me!

    So, how bout this one?

Catalina - Womens Bandeau Top and Skirtini Bottom

    Kinda cute….

    8. Go Camping.

Oh, yes. Bond with nature and leave the whole world behind…

    9. Scrapbook

    10. Get Bri completely Potty Trained

    censored I. HATE. POTTY TRAINING!

    11. Learn to Sew

Been wanting to do that for a while!

    12. Get more Serious about my Photography!

    TAKE.MORE.PICTURES. ’nuff said!

    13. Do a March of Dimes Walk.

There’s one in my area, well several, but the closest one is April 29th. So, who knows? But, since Brianna was premature, it’s close to my heart and I really want to do some good and make a difference. happy

  • This is a great list! Now I need to think of some positive things to do.

  • Great goals :D I love the outfit combination and that’s a cute bathing suit :)

  • Great aspirations! It can sometimes help your mood just to force yourself to think happy thoughts. I hope you achieve each and every goal you have set for yourself.

  • Road trip? Camping? Photography? Picnic? You can do all of these things by coming to my Xanga cabin party August 11th! Bring the whole family! So far we have 15 Xangans signed up! AND BIG NAMES too like Seedsower and Donkey_guy_10 and SaintVI and Dingdongdingbat!

  • @Aloysius_son - Ahhhh, a xanga meet up?!? Awesome! I’ll see. That would be super cool!

  • 1. Very cute outfit!
    2. Fun!  We should do a theme park together sometime in the future!
    3. Very fun!  I have gone ice skating ONCE, on a date before meeting my husband.  It was in Chicago.  Very fun!  I would love to go again myself.
    6. That looks beautiful!
    7. That’s a very cute bathing suit!  You wouldn’t need a man’s shorts with that, the skirted bottom is cuter.  OR, you can always check these out.  An online friend (from my birthboard) has skin cancer & so she’s into these skin protecting bathing suits.  They look like workout suits though but they are bathing suits meant to protect against the sun.  So they do NOT show much skin, but they have others that have short sleeves & shorts.  Here’s a LINK
    I’m with you on 9, 10 & 11.
    12 & 13 sound pretty cool.

Great post!  Thanks for sharing. :)
