That's great. I also take moments to just thank God for what He has blessed me with. Usually it's my children.
I just adore them! In fact, in the middle of typing this, Alexandra (26 months) got up on the couch, hugged me & said "Wuv ooo!" Melt my heart! How can I not send up little silent prayers of gratitude in thanks to God for my kiddos in moments like that?! 
@MyTwoCentss - aww, that's so cute. Yep. I love those moments, too.
@Megabyyte - I used to try to make it a habit just to thank Him every time I had a glass of water... simple, menial, overlooked, but provided by Him as well. It helps put stuff in persective.
