  • Parole Extended...

We got a letter, the other day, that my dads parole (Supervision Discharge Date) is being extended. I guess what that means is that he's still on a tether monitor, there's still a restraining order and what not. Good news. It goes until July 27th of this year.

We all were wondering WHY it was extended?

I wonder if he did something?

My mom was going to call some lady to see if she could find out if he had done something. I don't know. It makes my sister a little more nervous. Yeah... I guess. We'll see.

But, for now, I'm just happy that the restraining order is still in place and he still has to wear that wonderful tracker on his ankle. winky

(I know I've had conflicting feelings over this. I'm just trying not to think about it!)

  • I think you all should be informed as to what their reason for extending it is.  Personally, I think you should all have the option to have a lifetime restraining order on him if it helps.  *HUGS*  Sorry for all that you are going through.

  • @MyTwoCentss - She called the lady, who couldn't tell her anything. All she does is send out the notices and told her she'd have more luck calling his "agent". But she did say that even he may  not say much. She said it's either because He did something or his agent thinks he isn't ready. Hmm... it is such fun, not knowing anything.

My mom is the one who recieves all these notices. I understand that, 10 years ago, I was 14 and living with her. But now that I'm 25 (so, okay, 11 years, lol), I don't know why I can't get notices for myself? As a victim, they should do that. Not that my mom shouldn't get them, but I'd just like them to send one to me, too, as I'm one of the actual victims. You know? I don't know.

  • @Megabyyte - You have a very good point.  Can you talk to them about it & request that?

  • @MyTwoCentss - I probably could, I think. I'd have to figure out exactly who to contact. Maybe it's this same lady, since she's the one who sends out the notices.
